J&K human rights activist in jail due to clerical error

Despite the Jammu and Kashmir High Court on Friday terming the detention of human rights activist Khurram Parvez “not only illegal” but “abuse of power” and ordering his release, he is still in prison. This is because of a minor error in the warrant, police said. As soon as the clerical error is rectified, he will be released, it added.
